Imani Clark

mani is a Los Angeles native who has been dancing since the age of 6 years old. She studied Physical Education and dance at Prairie View A&M University. During her time there she was a member of the Classic Dance Ensemble and the Black Foxes Majorette Team. She is well versed in many genres of dance but specializes in jazz, hip hop, lyrical, pro cheer, and majorette. Imani has been a dance educator and coach for 8 years in the Houston area. Imani spent 5 seasons as a Houston Texans Cheerleader with 2 of those seasons as a line captain. As a Houston Texans Cheerleader, Imani performed with various artists such as T Pain, Flo Rida, and Big Boi from Outkast. During her tenure she was selected to travel to Poland; Djibouti, Africa; Oman, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, UAE during USO Military Tours for the United States Armed Forces with the Houston Texans Organization. As a retired professional cheerleader, Imani continues to visit various schools to host workshops, inspire the youth, and judge many auditions. Although she is a full time high school dance educator/ director, Imani recently started a new adventure as a performer for the J and D Entertainment Company and a judge for Dance Team Union.
