Abby Jo Oliver

Abby Jo was born and raised in Houston, TX where she trained with the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company. She was a part of a national/international award-winning High School Dance/Drill Team, the Kingwood Fillies. Abby Jo went on to receive a scholarship to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Point Park University. After graduating, Abby Jo went on to intern with Broadway Dance Center and EdgePAC in Los Angeles and work professionally in the dance industry including being a Performer on Holland America Cruise Lines and was a member of the dance ensemble in the hit musical, Oklahoma. Abby Jo teaches and choreographs for studios and dance teams all over the U.S. She also has Judged for the Miss Dance/Drill Team TX/USA, Crowd Pleasers and Groove dance competitions. Abby Jo was also Ponderosa High School’s Head Varsity Poms coach for 5 years where she led the team to their 12th State Championship title in Pom in 2019 as well as their 2nd National Championship in Spirit Showdown in 2024. Abby now resides in Lincoln, NE with her husband and daughter. Abby looks forward to making connections with College Dance Team coaches across the nation and helping create the best experiences for your team at camp and nationals!
