Courtney Vanderheiden

Courtney Vanderheiden fell in love with dance at the age of 5, and has continued to support dance in many ways over the years. She was a 4-year Varsity member of the H.D. Jacobs High School dance team (in Algonquin, Illinois) and then attended the University of Iowa, majoring in Education & Spanish. Spending 11 years as a teacher, Courtney also coached her school's dance team, leading them to a State Championship in 2006! Since then, Courtney has become a highly trained dance adjudicator for many circuits including the Illinois Drill Team Association, Indiana High School Dance Team Association, and the Illinois High School Association, and also serves as the President of the Alliance of Illinois Dance Adjudicators. Recently, Courtney moved to Davenport, Iowa where she enjoys traveling with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and loves supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs! Courtney is so excited to be the Director of Sales & Marketing for Dance Team Union and can't wait to see what the future has in store for DTU!
